I'm the girl behind the camera!

I am based in Tuscaloosa, AL, but naturally am willing to go wherever it takes to get that perfect photo! Not to mention, I love adventure!

I have always loved taking pictures. So, I decided to take on the greatest challenge of them all...and that led me to Orlando, Florida.  I worked for The Walt Disney Company as a Photopass Photographer for three years and loved every MAGICAL minute of it (I speak in Disney movie quotes and song lyrics). I loved spending time with all of my friends, both royal and furry, but, it was time to come home. I made my way back to Sweet Home Alabama and started making magic happen here.

 

I am now married to the man of my dreams and have him learning all the photo things as my protégé. We are always up for learning and exploring, with our cameras ready to go!

In December of 2022, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy - our sweet Jack! So, now have the BEST subject for photos and find that I spend most of my time with a camera in my hand focused on him...because he is my life's greatest photograph.

I started Phocus on Life Photography because I wanted to share something I love with everyone around me.  I believe POL Photography will bring fun and whimsy to the photography world.  I want to make life that beautiful picture that we all dare to dream of.
